There's a lot of weird new music coming out lately. While I'm a big fan of the shoegaze scene as well as lo-fi, I think the new Siltbreeze sound, "shitgaze", is terrible. When I first heard about it I was so excited to hear this "ultra lo-fi noisy shoegaze", but it was so disappointing. Really, how do you guys listen to that? I'm convinced that you don't and that it's actually a joke. Times New Viking was a tougher listen than Government Alpha. ...I'm serious. Psychedelic Horseshit wasn't as bad but still kind of sucked.

I would also like to make an announcement in this post. Attention: if you are planning to go into medicine because you think "cosmetic surgery is just so cool" and is "probably the easiest surgery lol" or because "you would like to play with babies all day", please... don't. Don't go into medicine.

The next person who tries to convince me to be a nurse or radiology technician is dead. Seriously.

Spending time at the different hospitals for the Summer Scrubs program is talking me out of working in a hospital ever, I think. Maybe medical research would be a better option. No smelly, dying old people. No screaming babies. No people who have gotten themselves into ridiculous predicaments because of their own stupidity.

Tomorrow I go to a mental hospital for Summer Scrubs. I am really just going to hope for the best and assume that the other girls in my group aren't as ignorant as they've made themselves seem. I also hope never to hear the question, "what is magnets?" ever again.

I think it's a big joke, too. It just hurts to listen. It's uninteresting. I favor catchier music, which is probably why I don't like it in the first place. But I also just don't get anything noise. I just don't like it. I understand people do, and I really wish I did because I'd feel awesome but... I just can't. Fuck.

Goddamn hospitals!
