College applications are being completed slowly but surely. Emory, Fordham, Tulane, and Loyola NO supplements have all been sent in. Emory Scholars is being sent in Friday. I wish we'd go ahead and find out that I have a good scholarship so I can buy clothes again. My current wishlist:

The husband AND wife of the family I (used to) regularly babysit for both have careers in real estate so I'm pretty sure they won't be calling me up any time soon. I wish they would.

I currently have a 79 in AP Econ and a 98 in genetics and a 95 in physics and a 97 in calculus. Something doesn't sound right here. All I've learned in AP Econ this year is that Mr. Carroll thinks I'm retarded, I'm not going to be an economist, and that I don't understand economics.. at all. Not even a little. If only he knew that I'm not as dumb as I seem. I'm the only person he doesn't call on in class. Not that he plays favorites, or anything. Oh, no. He'd never do that.

Quite honestly, I'm ready for my November 10th deadline to approach. I have a few college essays left to complete and they're all going to be done relatively soon. Then I play the waiting game. That's much easier than playing the "please colleges with your writing by sounding awesome but not arrogant, intelligent but not nerdy, and involved but without sounding like you're either 1. BSing or 2. over-involved" game. Poorly worded, but it seems to get the point across.

I'm worried that my dad makes just too much money per year for me to get a decent scholarship. The cutoff for a decent scholarship is like, less than $110,000 per year and I'm preeeetty sure he makes around 120,000. Whatevs. I'm gonna make it.
