I guess summer is ending which means that the weather is cooling off a little and that soon it will be picnic time again. I've found this really excellent picnic set on Etsy and some picnic food recipes on the New York Times website. I really want to make the couscous or tabouli and get some fresh fruit and make a nice fruit salad. My only problem is finding someone to go with. Other finds today:

It's sort of disappointing that Tropical Storm Fay pretty much missed us. They say "it's not over yet," but I know that there's no way I'm going to be able to miss school on Monday. It's probably for the better anyway.
I'm hoping that next weekend will be sunny so that I can go bike riding and go through the back of the Grand Hotel in time for tea time. The tea and cookies are free. I'll take my camera. Maybe I'll just have my picnic. If it ends up raining I'll probably go explore some of the local antique shops now that my interest in vintage has increased sharply.
